On the 12th of March 2013 i went to my first Lawson concert. Lawson are one of my favourite bands and they were amazing live. I went to see them at the Brighton dome.I was so excited to be seeing them and got annoyed when it decided to snow the night before the concert and it looked as if the show would be cancelled. Thankfully the sun was kind to us on the the day of the concert and the snow had melted !
We headed to the dome about 2 hours early because we had standing tickets and we wanted to get a good place. We stood around for a few hours waiting to go in.Of course it was still extremely cold outside and within an hour of waiting i had lost all feeling in my feet!
Eventually we went in and found a good place to stand. Around 15-20 minuets later the first support act came on "Room 94". Room 94 is made up of 4 boys , 3 brothers and one friend.They played a couple of songs and i instantly fell in love with them!
Then came the second support act which was "Mike Dignam" who i also fell in love with. He gave out his paint ep at the end of the evening for a donation of money of any amount. I listen to at least one of the songs on the ep everyday because i love them !
Then we waited for about 40 minuets until Lawson came on.They played songs from their album Chapman square.They were amazing and had so much energy on stage as did the support acts.Even a few dirty jokes were thrown in during the night.
Overall i had such an amazing evening and managed to loose most of voice singing along to Lawson! I f your thinking of going to a Lawson concert i would highly recommend it because you will have such an amazing time,that's guaranteed!
